We already know that there are those who might like to make it difficult for minorities to vote. If you see something, say something. And take a look below are a few ways that you can make sure your vote and those in your community are counted.

People who encounter issues or problems at a polling place can call the DNC’s Voter Protection Hotline at this number:
1-800-311-VOTE [8683]
Folks will look out for unfair or undemocratic action at the polls, and respond quickly to make sure votes get counted.
The best way to protect our right to use them. People unsure where to vote tomorrow can find information at the sites below in English and Spanish:
Or you can use the Google App to the right of this post to find your local precinct.

Also the NAACP has generated this helpful checklist

□ Remember to take your GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport or other ID) and CELL PHONE to the polls

□ If you have trouble with your voter registration at your polling place, ask for a PROVISIONAL BALLOT

□ If you have any problems or see issues at your polling place call our VOTER PROTECTION HOTLINE immediately at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683)

□ Call, text, and email at least 10 of your family and friends to remind them to VOTE TOMORROW

Want to help on Election Day? The NAACP is in need of volunteers to assist in PHONE BANKING tomorrow to remind people to VOTE! You can use the NAACP’s online phone banking system from anywhere, as long as you have access to the Internet and a telephone. To VOLUNTEER, visit http://www.naacp.org/pages/gotv
