While I appreciated the passion in this commentary, and I felt the anger, I believe Maddow missed the TRUE point of objection by the business community.

I don’t believe the objection was about child labor, though they could make the argument for it.

No, the TRUE objection to this, would be the elimination of PRISON LABOR.

You can’t make the use of FOREIGN PRISON LABOR illegal, and allow it DOMESTICALLY -the corporations know that.

How could you deny the corporations the DOMESTIC PRISON SLAVE LABOR that they currently enjoy.

I think that’s the crux of their objections.
