Well, if you like TWiB, you’ll love This Week with Jasiri X’s take on the news you can’t use. It’s like TWiB but set to a beat. It’s the disturbing images we’re forced to see on teevee…tackling the issue of race in a “post-racial” world…set to a hip hop beat and layered with some dense lyrics.

You MUST watch this. It’s got Balloon Boy, Harry Connick Jr and blackface in Australia, the campaign to boot Lou Dobbs from CNN (Drop Dobbs), the public threats to Obama’s life, Oscar Grant’s trial moved out of Oakland, French Vogue, Rush Limbaugh’s bid to buy the Rams, the LA official who refused to perform an interracial marriage, the controversy around Marc Lamont Hill on Fox and more. If you’re not nodding your head by the end of the vid like I was? Well, maybe you just don’t like hip hop.
