Republican Congressman Patrick McHenry Reveals GOP’s Slash and Burn Strategy

Republican Congressman Patrick McHenry revealed the official GOP strategy over the weekend. Yes…it’s what we already knew…but it’s always good to have confirmation.

According to the National Journal (via Oliver Willis):

“We will lose on legislation. But we will win the message war every day, and every week, until November 2010,” said Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., an outspoken conservative who has participated on the GOP message teams. “Our goal is to bring down approval numbers for [Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and for House Democrats. That will take repetition. This is a marathon, not a sprint.”

Now remember, we’ve been posting GOP videos. There was the one about healthcare not being a right. I didn’t get my hands on the one where Andrew Card stated that healthcare wasn’t a NEED. They have no ideas on the issues. They want The President to fail, because they have nothing else. They will repeat the same LIES, over and over again. And, that’s why the blogosphere has to be on guard, and our readership has to be willing to spread the word too.
