This story has the potential to get out of hand very fast, and thus, will involve the world, and inevitably the American Presidential Race. How will this effect the race between Obama and McCain? Since Iraq didn’t turn out to be the boon for McCain that he thought it would be, could these events turn things away from the domestic sphere to the international sphere?
Here are two informative diaries from DailyKos.

2. US Transporting Georgian Troops Out of Iraq to Fight Russia
If you find any other informative stories, please put them in the replies. I know I’m not the only member of the JJP family who would like to know more information about this situation.
