Seems like Hillpatine has seen the way the wind is blowing towards Denver.  From Yahoo:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, hoping to unite the Democratic Party and cement her future in it, will gather her hard-won primary delegates Wednesday at a reception where she is expected to formally release them to Barack Obama.

Clinton has invited her pledged delegates to a reception at the Colorado Convention Center, not far from the main Democratic National Convention arena.

The high-profile gathering of political regulars who once fought against Obama serves a dual purpose for Clinton: Show fellow Democrats that she can be a team player, and display her still-formidable political strengths for the future. Many of her supporters want her to run for president again.

Truthfully, if Hillary still wanted a future in politics, and in the Democratic Party in particular, she really had no choice except to go ahead and release her delegates to Obama.  Especially since Obama got the drop on her and announced his VP before the convention, successfully thwarting any attempts she, Camp Clinton, and those supporters who still want her to run again, to upset the apple cart in Denver during the Convention.

That makes it icing on the cake.  Anything else would show her Not To Be a Team Player, and virtually finish her politically inside the Beltway, and turning her into Beltway Poison.  Whether she’s seen the light remains to be determined, but you know what?

I’m wondering why she didn’t announce this the same day Biden was announced as Obama’s pick for VP?

You may think I’m nitpicking, but I don’t put anything past Hillary these days.  Last night, I watched Eddie Griffin and Paul Mooney’s comedy concerts where they both were praising Hillary, and I’m assuming their praise of Hillary as a “Ride or Die” byotch came before she unleashed her racial tirades in an attempt to take out Obama.

I wonder what they think about the woman they praised as a “Ride or Die” byotch now; considering she all but unleashed the N-word and eviscerated all goodwill in the African-American community?
