A black bourgeoisie perspective on U.S. politics
Instead of helping the country the Republicans are out to help the Republican Party. Looks like some journos are finally willing to call hem out.
When will we get details from the Republicans?

In following the Republican debates, it seems that no candidate is really speaking to the needs of America.
What seems obvious is that the candidates are in essence following the goals statements made early in the first year of the President’s term.
The stated the goals of the 2012 election for the Republican Party were to make President Obama a one-term president and a hope that he would be a failure.
Senator Mitch McConnell stated early on that his main goal in the Senate was to make sure President Obama would be a one-term president.
He has that power by making sure that the Senate does not have a “super majority” on bills that the Democrats want to pass or that the president wants enacted. He has been very successful in his attempts. As a result, the Congress has the lowest favorable rating in the history of the nation.
The other mouthpiece for the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, consistently says that he wants the president to fail.
Some will say that Limbaugh is not the spokesperson for the Republican Party. If that is true, why do the leaders of the Republican Party back away from statements they have made when Limbaugh takes them to task for it? Bringing up the statements now is a reminder that the current Republicans in the primary elections are generally following the lines of McConnell and Limbaugh without really saying it.
The generalizations coming from them give us little indication of how they will act as president or what policies they will promote.
Generally speaking, they are offering no concrete measures that will meet the demands of the American people. Their condemnations of the president are so general that we really don’t know about what they are speaking. There are also over blown statements of how they would do anything. Three of the current top four candidates have said that they would repeal what they call “Obamacaare.” The truth is that the president cannot repeal the law. The law was passed by Congress and therefore, repeal must come from Congress.
The current candidates are also talking about the intrusive regulations and policies that the administration has placed on the American people and how much he has raised taxes.
