LOVE the pic you posted above of Whitney Houston! So beautiful. I watched most of the service, teared up a few times….Kevin Costner was so touching when he spoke. Enjoyed the laughs too.

The ceremony was deeply moving. Tears rolled down my face several times. It restored her humanity for me.

Cissy put together a very well done and thought out service. It was very difficult to watch the end as they played Whitney singing ‘I will always love you’ but very beautiful how the pallbearers carried the casket. God bless the Houston family, especially Bobbi Kris and Cissy.

This week, i watched some youtube compilations/mashups of her funny moments. It’s been good to remember that she was funny, spontaneous, very giving and did not blow her fans off easily. Seems like she had a close circle of black women she loved very deeply and always was close to her mother despite the later downward spiral. It was good to see her as a woman, a daughter, a mother, a friend, a generous heart and a hilarious jokester.
RIP Whitney and peace for her family.
