A thief is a thief, petty or not..gun play? Isn't that a phucking oxymoron? How the hell you gonna play with a loaded weapon? And for sure disorderly conduct where you are harassing a citizen is just plain foul…not to mention ignorant rude and crude.

some people want to buy into white psychology so bad they make public asses of themselves repeatedly with their daily posts of psychobabble for the mentally challenged and racially insensitive clods they presume are their audience.

This is what happens to a lot of individuals who attend predominately white schools as adolescents. Their white peers impose these negative stereotypes on them as the standard of blackness and the adolescent ASSUMEs those roles in order to be the 'cool hip black person' …after all..that is what their whitevpeers expect in terms of seeing them as a BLACK person.

It is why..if you are educated, successful, articulate and intelligence…those white peers say to them…quote “I don't think of you as black”…so that black developing adolescent gets in their mind that they have to be a guntotingdopedealingblingwearingthug in order to be 'authentically' black!

good grief..this write up was woefully pathetic…it's as though the author nor comedians understand the difference between self deprecation and self degradation.

That said, I still love some of what Chappelle did in his show. The Wayne Brady bit?! Hee-larious. Just because white people may laugh at us doesn't make some of this any less funny than it is. This just wasn't very funny.

Given the title, it was not humorous

Rather, it came across as buying into the negative stereotype it supposedly was lampooning.

You know, like Dave Chapelle….who thought his buffoonery was ridiculing the black negative stereotypes but in actuality was perpetuating them.

IOW's this is humorous primarily because it reinforces what white folks already believe and they laugh because they feel it is true…they laughing AT us.

And when black folks laugh at this..they are laughing WITH white folks laughing AT us.

That is precisely what Chapelle realized when he woke up.
