They're are coming after Geithner. the call for impeachment is starting and they are asking for Summers head too. The picture is classic.

Both should go but I don't think it will happen.
Geithner will go but not Summers but not based on the yelling at all. Obama gets 28 months to get unemployment to at least 8.5% just like Reagan.
Our financial system and job innovation mechanism is fundamentally bankrupt. The reason the banking industry had to survive is because it is the only thing making money and growing, everything else has disappeared.
We need bold innovation but neither the people, nor the legislature are ready.

Trading commodities, foreign exchange and other things is not banking. financing this activity is a very real problem because the real economy cannot find a lender. Worse it puts real pressure on the real economy, have you been watching gas prices lately?
Your point about the real economy causing his downfall politically is dead on point but the damage these policies are doing still need to stop.
