As a Saints fan, obviously, it was a good game for us, but I wish I was in NOLA now. It was obvious that everyone today was playing hard, but the Saints have been playing hard all season, and it just seemed that all season, no one gave the Saints any respect for the game they were playing. Mostly everyone here in DFW chalked it up to a fluke, especially after the Cowboys beat the Saints.

Win or lose, at least maybe now they will get some, but not for a few days, seeing how much the announcers on Fox, ESPN, etc were all looking like they had lost a loved one. They obviously all liked the story that woulda been told if Favre and the Viking had made it.

But I understand, that celebration will have to wait, until we see how things shake out with Favre. What do ya'll think Favre's gonna do?

The story in NOLA of cours isn't about Favre, but about, about a team, a quaterback, a coach, a franchise, a city that even 4 years later needed a little magic. I went home for New Year's and believe me when I tell ya NOLA needed this!

Anyway, Good game Vikings, and Geaux Saints!!!

This whole season, the Saints got no respect. No matter how hard they played, ore how good they were no respect wa sgiven. I can already tell ya what gonna happen on DFW talk radio tomorrow, "well we beat the Saint...whatevah.

Maybe now we can get the respect we shoulda gotten all season

I guess my earlier post about the Saints wimming was a premonition. I think I got that Voodoo in me.

I hear ya. It looks like wishes do come true.

I'm mad, though, because the Colts could have been undefeated, would have tasted better. Now, I refuse to choose between the Purple and Gold and Black and Gold. I was pro-Saints, and am still pro-Saints, but the Vikings have grown on me. They both deserve to reach the Super Bowl and win, but the Saints' time is more timely than the Vikings cuz the Vikings have been to the big dance before, several times. The Saints... the Saints used to be jokes. It tastes more right for them to be there. Still, this is hard.

Off topic, I'm weirded out about all the 'Haiti versus Katrina' Bowl that's coming out right now. That stuff's macabre. So sad the Undefeated Bowl is not to be.

When the Jets played the Saints, just in case it happens again somehow, even though the Jets have been bad since week 4, they looked like a better team. Sanchez broke down and gave the game to the Saints,who otherwise could barely move the ball against the Jets.

Indy should roll easily,but you never know against a nothing to lose underdog with a good defense.

Can Favre finally end his career on something other than a pick? Or will he throw one, retire, mow the grass for a while, miss the game terribly, and then go "You know Deanna, why not give it one more try..."? Here's hoping he is not in that position...

On other matters, only semi NFL related, a radical Supreme Court of the United States gives corporations the rights, but not responsibilities (nor can it) of individuals. How did such a radical decision occur?
