What happened is during the campaign Scarlett Johannson claimed that she and Barack Obama were having an e-mail relationship. Obama said that she emailed Reggie Love about how she supported Obama and he (or Reggie Love?) emailed her back *once* to say "Thanks" and he was surprised to learn she was going around saying they had an email relationship when that was not the case. The MSM tried to make it seem like Michelle was jealous about "the hot blond Scarlett" and tried to make it like a potential JFK/Marilyn Monroe situation and that Obama lubs dem white wommens when the situation was Scarlett Johannson probably got the same form email Barney Smith got.

Let's also not forget how they tried to say that Obama was leering at that white girl's ass back in the summer (1-the girl wasn't white; 2-he wasn't leering, he was helping her walk up the stairs; 3-Sarkozy WAS leering, but not Obama)

The GOP would LOVE to link Barack Obama to a white woman.

I missed this post until just now and I wish I had missed it altogether.

Satire? If you wanna call it that, but the best satire imparts wisdom. Where is the wisdom in suggesting that Obama has anything to learn about how to handle his business from Tiger, Mandela or anybody else at all?

I mean, why not put up a post and tell the president what he has to learn from Slick Willy or JFK? Is it because President Clinton and President Kennedy are/were not Black?

This "satire" is presumptuous, belittling, disrespectful, racist, sexist and not the slightest bit funny. Not worthy of this or any blog written by anyone, but most especially, by a Black woman who calls herself a supporter of the president.

How very disturbing.

Frankly, I was amused by Jill's piece, but it was something that I would have liked said out loud for all of us still thinking that there is one black icon left that I/we want kept on his pedestal. Truest way to do that is to stay with his woman. Period. But I would think that his mom's experience with his father, and his grandfather's example, would have trained him to be faithful.

I AM getting tired of ET, The Insider, et al. talking about sex tapes and love children. My eyes rolled skyward and for the first time in days, I changed the channel on that shyt. They truly have nothing to talk about except Tiger-Tiger-Tiger.

I don't know if I believe that in regards to white women, because Sarah Palin is as stupid as they come and a disgrace to women. She winked and shimmied during the debate, didn't know anything, doesn't know anything, doesn't want to know anything and is PROUD not to know anything and gets by on her looks and "spunky" personality. She constantly LIES and has a Jerry Springer/Maury Povich personal life.

Yet this person is still a "contenda" because she's a MOM(tm) and a REAL AMERICAN(tm).

If a Black, Hispanic, Native or Asian woman did all of what Sarah Palin did they'd be laughed off the national stage never to be heard from again.

A non-white? They would have to be perfect, or whites will condemn the next person that comes along. And let me just say, if Bill Richardson had become president instead of Barack Obama he would have faced the same birther conspiracy that Obama is facing. Non-whites are not REAL AMERICANS(tm). In Richardson's (or any Democratic Latino) case they would have said he was really born in Mexico and if it was proven he was born here, they would have claimed he was an anchor baby and is not really a natural born citizen blah blah blah.

Val, if you went through my comments you would have noticed how I felt about Jill's post. I actually agreed with the tone of Glissade's blog. I just felt like Glissand went too far with the “disgrace to to race” commentary.
