No it isn't our fault it's just reality. If you are a person of visible African ancestry you can and will get the "nigger" treatment. Someone should have told him that. His father did him a disservice by letting him think otherwise. Barack Obama, Halle Berry and Lenny Kravitz, ect parents did right by them. They made if clear that no matter how they lived or who they lived with that they were biracial black people and prepared them for what comes with it.. If they get in trouble they will have a community to back them up and every public person of color needs that.

Male thing – I was sitting on my brother-in-law's front porch with him and a friend when the very attractive young lady next door came out of her front door dressed only in a skimpy halter top and sprayed on short shorts. All the males heads swiveled as one to watch her even though our wives were standing right next to us. Our wives laughed at us and gave us hell (in an amused way).
On the other hand, none of us were porking a bimbo while our fathers died in hospice. Tiger's actions go well beyond the typical “male thing” and into a pathological mixture of money, opportunity, and deeper psychological issues.

You know this Tiger thing is killing me, I haven’t been following it much but to me the only similarities between Tiger and OJ other than the fact that they are both athletes, from CA and have some African ancestors and married blonde white wimmens they seem to have nothing in common. OJ was accused of killing his ex-wife, Tiger fooled around on his wife and she most likely tried to beat him up and I don’t care what they say about her trying to “rescue” him, she was coming after him with that golf club. Like she couldn’t have say opened one of the car doors or the hatch, the car wasn’t that jacked up from what I've heard. But somehow he is being compared to an alleged killer (who was exonerated) and now all these sponsors backing out? If he had a non-white wife, 1) people would be making more jokes about her trying to beat his a$$, especially if she was a sister, 2) these sponsors wouldn’t be dropping like flies either and 3) I bet if it was a white athlete who did the same EXACT thing and who had a wife of any color it would not be such a big deal. He cheated on his wife, yeah that sucks and I’m not a fan of cheating but in the grand scheme so f-ing what? That happens every hour of everyday, maybe even every minute of every day all around the world and with male pro-athletes? Gimme a break, I'm more suprised when I hear verifiable evidence that they are faithful. NOt b/c they are bad people but b/c they get their heads so pumped up for so long from such a young age and so many women (and probably men too) throw themselves at them that they think they can do whatever they want to do, with whomever, when ever. So why is this even important to anyone except for their family? So racist. And I bet if he was say all Asian or mixed with something other than black it wouldn’t be as big of a deal, even if he was married to a white woman. I swear, for all of the talk about people being mixed race and some white folks’s being mad that Obama is “not claiming his white side” by id’ing as black, and white folks saying that black people try to make everyone who is mixed with black be black, the minute someone who is known to be mixed with black gets into trouble it is always the blackness singled out and the reason why they go down. It makes me so sick.

I agree about the behavior and about the STDs. Just what in the world was he bringing back home to his wife, because he certainly wasn't using condoms, as some of the women have reported.

I have a feeling his mother forced him to marry.

Tiger said to one of his jumpoffs that he wasn't pleased with how the marriage was going--meaning, of course, he would have to give more that he didn't possess, and it wasn't about money or things. And at that time, he didn't want to.

He already knew she wasn't the right one, and instead of divorcing, he went out and got other women.

Plus a few PR people who have weighed in on the case said that Tiger leaving all these cell phone messages and texting messages pretty much sabotaged himself. In essence, he stymied his crew of lawyers with evidence of his own actions.

The guy wanted to get caught. I tell myself that he couldn't have been that dumb, but he was.

I agree. TW made it abundantly clear that he did not consider himself Black and I think the Black community has pretty have left him the hell alone. Its a bit of schadenfreude now because he and his father built up this super athelete a regular guy image–who was also part of this super race of mixed people that transcended race. Now the media can't help but keep calling him Black–that's not the Black community's fault.

I don't think he has some sex addicition, just a flat nasty, indiscriminate behavior. His wife better check herself for STD's. He was cheating before the marriage, through the marriage and the pregnancies –but real sex addiciton is way worse. Maybe he thought marrying would cement his squeaky clean image when he had no business getting married.

I guess he never really watched Caddy Shack.

Tiger's thing ain't black, it's male. When men stop marrying the wrong woman is just exactly when this crap's gonna stop. Mrs. Tiger ain't wrong because she's white, she's wrong because she doesn't get him. Everybody's got to know their own damn selves, and Tiger should have known she wasn't the right one and that's on him.

when he first came on the scene i think black people were just proud of him for making it in a white mans sport
but he chose to be all offended because people thought of him as black everyone could see he was of mixed race and black people weren't suggesting he wasn't part of his mother.
yes he's really not getting the support from black people
i think Tiger is on his own
and will have to figure things out for himself

but you would think the cablinasian community would atleast speak up LOL

Tiger was booed by Cal fans when he was announced as an inductee in the Stanford Hall of Fame. Big game tickets are usually split 50/50. He was not booed by the home Stanford crowd. The booing explains nothing but your ignorance.

You don't have to apologize to me. I'm a visitor here. I guess I don't understand how you, someone who from what I understand does not know Tiger, can try to figure him out? How are you different than those five white people on the set of Morning Joke this morning moralizing and trying to explain his behavior within the constraints of their own limited life experiences?

If you wanted to leave it alone, I would have appreciated it if you said “let's leave it alone.”
