African Americans carried VA, NC, IN, MI, PA and FL for Barack Obama. Without their votes, he would not be POTUS. Period.

None of us expected Mr. Obama to go all Malcolm X-esque after winning the election. But we also didn't expect him to lecture us on how to raise our children while ignoring the structural and institutionalized factors keep many of us marginalized and unemployed. We didn’t expect him to ignore the dozens of African American children who were dying s on the streets of his home town until it became a political liability for him to continue to do so.

And we didn't expect that he would ignore the obvious impact of the foreclosure crisis and unemployment crisis on the working poor and minorities once he won the election.

That's change. But it’s not the kind that we can believe in!

Mr. Obama claims that he must be president to all people and not just to one demographic group. Fine! Then he should try telling that to the Wall Street demographic. And he should tell that to the LGBT- DADT demographic. Let's see how the immigration reform – Hispanic demographic responds to Mr. Obama's President of all, dismissive response.

And there aren’t enough popcorn and lounge chairs available for us to sit back and watch the backlash from the Jewish community when he declares his President of all Americans response to their demands for his capitulation to Israel.

The CBC is doing what politicians do. They are demanding that the concerns of their constituencies be addressed. I applaud them. African Americans with and without college degrees, and the working poor have been the hardest hit demographic by the economic, foreclosure, health care and employment crisis.

Until Mr. Obama addresses our concerns, I will not donate another dime to the DSCC, the DCC or the DNC and I will be looking to vote for someone other than Mr. Obama in 2012 if he doesn't step up to the plate.

A big fat NO. They just want to posture in front of the tv. Threatening to work with the republicans to derail the President? How getto can you get?

Name one industry or business enterprise that employes black people or manufacture a useful product or urban workforce development company that qualifies for stimulus funds. And I don't mean nail salons or wig shops.

All of you whinners need to get up off of your lazy behinds and try to do something for yourself and your community. The President does not owe you and your six children without fathers another welfare check. Nor can he get you jobs as cardiac surgeons or rocket scientists. Especially when so many of the whinners have nothing to offer, can’t speak standard english and dropped out of school at the 9th grade.

Do you NON-THINKERS really believe that the President can create job just for black people? What planet do you folks live on? Most of the black people who don't have these big time jobs they are whinning about DID NOT HAVE THEM WHEN GEORGE BUSH WAS IN THE WHITE HOUSE. No complaints then.

And if five million jobs were created today, who among the whinners would be qualified to fill those jobs? So many of the whinners are under-educated (because they choose to be) or have dropped out of school all together. They have no marketable skills (because they chose not to have learned any). And they have very poor communication skills (because to learn to speak english and to become educated is, of course, acting white).

Instead of waiting for a hand out, some of the whinners ought to be smart enough to pool resources and start some type of business like the Asians, Arabs, Indians, Koreans and every other group that comes to this country manages to do. You don't find them sitting around whinning. And when they start earning money from their businesses, they don't go out and spend that money of big cars and gold jewelry. Few, if any, black people would go throught what these people do to start or maintain a business. (And please, don't give that bs excuse that “the man” is keeping you from trying to do for yourselves).

You had your chance to vote for someone who would have done everything possible under the sun to help black people: John McCain/Sarah Palin.

One thing you can do is stop giving the ministers of the ten churches that exists on each block in your neighborhoods what little money you have. It only goes to purchase another Rolex watch or hand made Italian suit. Drag their sorry selves out of those fancy churches and force them to get involved in the communities in which their churches sit. These so-called ministers ought to be interested in more than what is in the collection plate. And really, just how many Rolex watches does anyone need?

I was not brought up expecting a handout. All of my siblings and children, and cousins and their children, with two exceptions, attended college (some with multiple degrees), some under extreme hardship, to make sure that we werer prepared to take care of ourselves. Even the ones who did not attend college have never been without a job and their children are about to start fressman year. There were not thoughts of quiting and sitting around whinning. This is why I am so sick of the whinning and complaining without offering one constructive thing instead.

I have no complaints against the President who is doing the best that he can under trying circumstances. He is educated, knowledgable, speaks the english language (no dem, dat, dos, or ax from him) and has class. How many of you whinners can fill his shoes?

Instead of acting like crabs in a barrel, try to get your own act together.

And remember, as hard as it may be, that: President Obama is NOT THE PRESIDENT OF BLACK PEOPLE. HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

I mean we just treated to two major newspapers commenting on how thorough this president was in gathering information. So for 11months our “college professor and gentle cross-examiner” hasn't taken a look at the TARP legislation. These facts don't match his actions. It is clear he is a big a tool for financial institutions as Henry Paulson was. We are going to have to stop calling Geithner Fredo. He isn't against the family. We haveto call him Timmy. Timmy's unusual. Timmy doesn't blow a dog whistles he responds to Lassie's barking.
