    I don't know if it's wanting to be relevant as much as it is a matter of shared goals and a shared political outllok.

    Even though Davis may not have billed time directly to those files, he is still an attorney for those insurance companies by virtue of being a partner in that firm.

    He might not have flat out lied, but he was intentionally dishonest.

    In order for him to name his source of revenue, would be akin to the proverbial dog biting the hand that feeds him.

    That was a very good exchange because she did indeed school him. It was a very legitimate question to ask him whose paying him. As Hamsher put it, you enjoy the income that derives from the other lawyers representing the clients. so you are not neutral or an honest broker.
    I found him being on arguing for Obama to be interesting given his vocal objections to Obama after Hilliary conceded. It is a sign of how many players want to be relevant in the end regardless of what is being passed.
