It's now clear that the demographic that they're trying to appeal to–White, conservative and opposed to Obama–are not going to vote for them again, no matter what. These people were humiliated in 11/08, and they're committed to taking back “their America”. They will be voting Republican no matter what these sold-out Democrats do.

So, as I see it, the only chance these Dems have is to recognize that their Black, Brown and progressive White constituents are their only chance at re-election. And the only way to get their vote is to get on-board with this Health Care bill.
