But you allow a parenthetical, a side comment, to become the central point to you, even though you've shown you know it's not. It's my experience that folks that represent the way you do, have done so for a while. I think you know your spin is annoying to Black people, and you're obviously a skilled enough writer to NOT to do that if and when you choose.
