I've a couple of questions because as everyone knows I believe the WH and President Obama do a shitty job pushing their agenda in a manner the public can clearly see.
One, was this pushed to you from whitehouse.gov or did you read it and post it yourself?
Two, if it was pushed did it come with instructions of any kind?
Three, if it was pushed how early did you receive it prior to posting as a blog?

I truly think a lot of “lefties” have misread Obama and don't understand his approach (not saying this is you). I'm talking HuffPo and Open Left and Talk Left to name names. They sometimes seem to want him to channel Alan Grayson all the time. I can't tell sometimes if they really want good laws passed or they want political revenge against Republicans. (Well to be truthful, given the tabloid flavor of HuffPo over the last 1-2 years, I'm pretty sure they mostly want good political theater to drive up the clicks.)

I for one am delighted to see progressives try some different approaches. Getting into tit for tat arguments and insults with Republicans doesn't focus on issues, it distracts. And that leads some independent voters wondering where the difference between parties lies.

So I'm with Baratunde on this one. I want to see this out of the Senate and in conference. I will be interested in seeing if there is a tactical shift then. But above all I'm going to stay diligent but patient. I have no crystal ball into the inner workings of the messy legislative process. But I'm also not going to buy into some of the naive Chicken Little diaries on the left blogosphere from folks who also don't have a crystal ball but don't know that yet ( http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/10/25/79... ) .

And this site has a strong pro-Obama bias.
