In the case of Latinos, she completely missed the boat with regards to those who have black skin.    Personally, I have never made the distinction between black Latinos and nonblack Latinos.    The term &quot;Afrolatino&quot; Americans must be something invented for this series!  A Dominican is a Dominican.  A Cuban is a Cuban.  A Mexican is a Mexican etc.  Just as there is a spectrum of complexions in the African American community , so there is in the Latino community.   I think some Latinos who have black skin in the United States get social pressure to identify with African Americans even though culturally they share little with them except skin color .
