whats up JJP crew. I was at DC because Im at Marine Corps base quantico. Anyway i went to the Black Family Reunion and ill tell you what it was like. Ok first i parked at the Reagan Building which is pretty big, and while walking towards the mall i got turned around and ended up going in the direction of the protestors which were predominantly middle aged 40 and up white men and women and their children. This was about 3 or 4 oclock. by the time most of them were sitting on benches chillin not saying anything. their signs were on the ground and they looked tired.
Anyway i followed some people over to the national mall where there were 4 ongoing concerts. Charlie Wilson was performing and you could here him because cuzo was getting down. there was a youth african dance impression going on, gospel music, and then the Sprite Step Show challenge, which is where that video was taken. Keri Hilson also performed a few songs. Now the funny part was that it was maybe around 1500 or so black people at any given time, the tea party people had parked right behind the national mall. So they get off the bus with their signs of Impeach Obama and they walk right into a crowd of 500 black people wearing Obama shirts, or traditional african wear and they went from Impeach obama to O shit. they looked lost than a Mug lol. but overall the city of dc, didnt pay them any attention. there werent any arguments or fights everyone pretty much went about their day visiting musuems art gallerys you name it. there were more people in the city not at the tea party rally than at it.

I was watching iDesk today at work, switched to BBC international when the lady (Gorani or something, her name) started lying about Africa and that part of the world as she said (her editor must be that stupid).

Last July, I attended a family reunion on my daddy's side, the "Whites" and "Hensons" We were 250 strong with at least 5 female cousins expecting.

The elders: "Lawdy, child, I remember when you and your twin sister Irene, wore the same dresses and you stooped in the mud, and got your dress all messy, SMH....

Aunties are all up in my hair, Why you got that big ole bushy hair? And my favorite Aunt Francis, she winks and let's me know I'm rockin it no matter what I look like.

Love the elders, they remind you of how far you've come, by bringing up the past.

Always one or two drunk uncles, who slurps and slurs and wants you to give'em a lil peck on the cheeks.... ummmm Hell Naw! LOL.

No matter what's going down with family, we bring the love, and everybody brought major love for then candidate Barack Obama and his family. some of my cousins wore family reunion shirts with the family name on the front, and a pic PBO's face on the back.

Nope, no anti- Obama happening at that reunion, nothing to see here; keep it moving teabaggers!

The problem with the wapo story is that it is a process story!

The reporter clearly made assumptions in the relative protest sizes and talks about Sunday (9/13) as opposed to Saturday (9/12). It is worth re-examining the information available to get a crowd count on BFR.

Why don't I believe that these “protesters” not know about the BFR LOL More than likely they knew about it and used it as a way of making their numbers appear bigger.

As for the media, it would kill them if they had to get off their ass and do basic research before just blindly reporting anything. CNN has given up completely and only cares what's on Twitter and Myspace.
