Hmmm. So what is the difference between a person being paid by the National GOP to attract blacks to vote Repub and a person being paid by the VA GOP to attract blacks to vote Repub?

Other than one person posts on JJP incessantly about his wack ass clown candidate's campaign and the other does not.

Being a resident of VA, I see no diff- At. ALL. & I make no apologies for my comments. Everything posted re: Steele also applies @ the state level.

What you're basically saying is that D can insult our intelligence because he is civil and engaged about it - and he's fam.

notice I said white liberal college and if you go back in our history, especially to the 60s, the student body then at Howard would have challenged Steele at every opportunity they had as opposed to sitting still and clapping. My opinion, and I feel this way from experience and what I've heard from others, is that most HBCU campuses have become stale. You'll no longer find the types of students that participated in the marches and sit-ins of the past. Instead of standing up for justice or taking on controversial issues everybody is just trying to be a graduate and get out so they can get a good job and move up higher in the ranks of the black elite.
The philosophy of the Talented Tenth using their intellectual ability and capital to help the least has been forgotten. I refuse to believe that majority of the student body at HU believes in the same idealology as Michael Steele. If that's the case than we are worst off than I thought.

Michael Steele is not posting on this blog. I do not call posters names on this blog. I am speaking about posters that we engage in discussions with on a daily basis. You started the name calling with CPL and it was ugly & disrespectful.

I even confronted Kalagenesis for coming in here and particularly bashing Craig Hickman on gay marriage. My views are totally different than Craig's but I am going to speak up when someone comes in and treats people like dirt because their views are different or they're gay.Why? Bashing hurts people. There is no excuse for hurting people.

I don't always agree with everyone & neither do they always agree with me. We can agree to disagree. We don't have to be disrespectful.
