Oh I don't think the RNC even thinks about Steele. They made that clear when he criticized Rush and ended up apologizing for it. Have they ever invited him to share the stage with any of them? He's just there so they can say 'see? we're not racist! We don't really respect Steele or anything but he sure comes in handy to send to HBCUs!
