This is n't about Jones' comments beforehand this is about the colorofchange boycott.

As has been said above all it will do is allow the right to attack anyone in this administration on any made up faux pearl clutching outrage knowing that they will not be reigned in by the republican leadership who will sit back today laughing at the administration. Now they know they don't have to do a thing. They can just say "well the media (meaning faux news), have the story out there and we are just commenting on it".

This is going to be far worse than what Clinton faced believe me.

Y'all have to excuse granny but I'm really ticked off at how the GOP is protesting President Obama speaking to the school children about getting an education. It caused me to have a flashback of when the Little Rock Nine integrated Central High School and how white folks were acting. This brought back all those ugly memories for me. I guess, next they'll be literally spitting on our President. Enough is enough!

I think I'll quit blogging. My peace of mind is more valuable to me. It's the same ole same ole in this country. America is consumed with hatred of people of color, nothing has changed, and it probably never will change. After over 400 years of the same ole same ole racist attitudes nothing has really changed. One thing, I will say was a President Obama being elected is a blessing because racism in this country is showing for the whole world to see and believe me they've gotten a good look at this so-call country of liberty and justice. Yup, and how much they really do believe in equality. The true nature of this country has been uncovered. Never in the history of America has a President had to deal with so much hatred towards him because of the color of his skin. I thought discrimination was illegal but yet its okay to discriminate against the President. After all, he is just a black man–a refugee. Yup, I think I'll stop blogging because I value my peace of mind and I really don't like how the actions of people who hate people of color.

Hold up and why does Van Jones have to go? We've all heard Republicans say things that were way out of line and sometimes even downright racist. Their defense was that they were joking. Yeah, that's right it's a joke. So now, why can't a black man in America claim the same thing--"I was joking" or "It's a joke" or "I apologize". I mean I thought all men were created equal in America. So shouldn't they be afforded the same equal chances that all of those Republicans that were so out of line and who made racist remarks were given? Michele Bachmann was inciting folks to have a revolution (race war) and to insurrection against the USA. They not asking her to leave. We had Republican Congressmen usurping the President of the USA, and they didn't ask Eric Cantor to leave when he did that. Oh, I could go down the list of stuff they've done and no one asked them to go or be thrown under the bus.

Ahhh...I get it now, Van Jones is a black man and they don't have the same rights as a white man in America. I get the picture now. Smh!

The Divided States of America is full of dung. It should be called Whites Only State because that's the only time it's United, other than that all others are refugee. Now, I understand why Bush called the people in Katrina refugees, because that's the way people of color are viewed here. They don't even try to show respect for our President and no one in MSM really calls them on it because they're doing it too.

Not worth the read, and since most blacks vote Liberal it's no secret. Jones is just one black racist amongst many many (90-95%) black racists. Obama can't throw everyone around him “under the bus” (like he did Wright), and that helps expose Obama for what he is … just a little more time.

The idea that Bush wanted 9/11 to happen is as crazy as the Republicans in the 40s that said Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor and wanted to drag us to war so he let it happen. These conspiracies are not healthy and they cause anger legitimately among people. The White House stood by Van Jones in everything and tried to stand behind the truther thing; but he apparently really WAS a truther and that's not acceptable in public life.

Just like someone who called President Obama a Kenyan wouldn't be an acceptable appointment; they can get elected yeah but you can't appoint someone like that.

That's my take. Van Jones did this to himself.

Also, the President doesn't throw people under the bus casually. He defended Rev. Wright for example and then the good Rev. went on tv for a week and totally undid the good the President tried to do w/his race speech. So he had to cut him loose.

Van Jones entered into political life; he should have recognized they'd come hard at everyone in this administration. Just as Daschle knew he had to go; so too does Van Jones does now.
