Have We Forgotten?

I treat 9/11 as a day to remind myself of why I fought, and why thousands of others died. I’m one of those people who still watches the news coverage of that day, and will show it to my kids as well. Not as some sort of sadistic exercise, but for them to know that there are evil people in this world. For me, there’s not more appropriate method of rememberance than to relive it all over again.

In Aug bush got a briefing stating bin laden would strike.What did he do?He smirked and said you covered your ass and watch this golf shot.
The 20th hijacker was arrested in Minn with evidence that something big is coming it was passed up the chain of command where it was conveniently lost.
cheney's energy task force had already carved up Iraq's oil fields .We know this because of judicial watch.
According to ABC news an informant told the FBI about Atta and they refused to do anything.

I remember and honor the innocent victims but our government led by bush was criminally negligent that day and to use that as an excuse to attack a innocent country and then say my bad,everyone who was involved democrats republicans and the sheep that is american people who went along with this war crime,the blood of over 4500 men and women is on their hands.May all of you rot in your own excrement.

I always recall a 20/20 report from a few years prior that talked of this same scenario of terrorists hijacking aircraft and crashing them into buildings of interests. The thought that crossed my mind was that “yeah, they'll try a remix of the WTC bombing”…

The same with Bush and his goal for Iraq during that summer prior to 9-11, especially hearing little clips of their Afghan project…

…and imagine my “d'oh” moment after the election when recollecting how I first heard of Obama (CBS News piece on Harvard Law Review back in the '80s).

One of the most tragic moments in our nation's history….I hope we can keep politicization out of discussing this day.

I also send my deepest prayers and support to all US military personnel around the world, especially 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.

As a member of a Blue Star family, the sacrifices of those who serve , past and present,are always on my mind.
