CNBC ahs been on a tear abou the healthcare debate. They basically do not wnat any change. Until today they really made no attempt to deal w/ the rationing issue even as a story.
About an hour(12:30pm est) ago they changed their tune. they actually articulated that no matter whether it is the government or private practise rationing exists.

The media is so desperate for a story and sadly we are falling for it. By the end of the week, PUMAs will be on every cable network.

I know, right? It seems like it's all screeching monkeys all the time now. I stopped watching cable news a while ago, but in the last couple of weeks I've given up the embed videos too.
It's not so much me burying my head in the sand as it's just plain old burnout. Thank goodness for baseball and preseason football.

I did not say CNBC balanced their coverage. i said they admitted rationaing exists. By definition when you come to agreement about what something is you can move forward.

What happened to your Mets (you're the Mets fan, right?)? In April it looked like they were going to take it right to the Phillies, but they've really self-destructed. But at least they're not the Nationals, so that's something anyway (LOL).

I'll try not to gloat then about how well the Yanks are doing (LOL). I love that the Red Sox are imploding, but it's only August and they've been know to come back from the dead before. Maybe they need to juice up Big Papi again.

Basically, I was snarking the format where timer expired and the host still allowed speaker in opposition of HC to continue after 20 secs and host interrupting the pro-HC guest answering question when answer to question was exactly the way it was framed.

I don't know why folks were so surprised Big Papi was juicing. He looks like Florida Evans on steriods.

W/ rationing now meaning, as opposed to nonsense about death panels, how do we include people whom don't have healthcare?
