That's the scam right there…why can't so many people see what's so obvious? Corporations don't believe in competition, they believe in monopoly. Monopoly is beneficial to their bottom line, competition cuts into profits. The idea of competition is that it would drive prices down and benefit “consumers”. The problem is there is information overload…too many choices for “consumers” to reasonably peruse…there is little way of knowing if you're getting the absolute best price and value. There are certain things that don't adapt well to the competitive marketplace…healthcare is one. Health is science…we can study what therapies have the best outcome..it is not like buying jeans…low rise, boot cut..straight leg. Healthcare is not subjective.
