My lack of response, as well as my declining to watch the OFA video, is a result of preferring to try to ignore the President and the administration on this. I'm trying to take the advice I've read so, so, many times here- it's all on Congress, and it's not the President's fault. Well, if that's the case, then the President is really not a player, and he should be treated like non-player- that is, he should be ignored, and the focus should be on trying to get the Senate Blue Dogs to do the right thing.

I sure hope that the lack of responses to this thread is not an indication that no one is taking the time to actually educate themselves about what health reform means.

I really urge the folks at the White House to make it plainer for folks and give Americans a bulleted list of what the reforms look like such as eliminating the whole pre-existing condition crap, no more emergency room visits that cost $10 Gs and making sure you don’t get dropped from insurance when you get sick. You know that stuff.

Obama definitely needs some help from”Uncle Real” out there. He should go spend an afternoon at the barbershop, not up in a gated house in Martha’s Vineyard. I’m totally serious.
