That I have been allowed to live to see our First Black President and his beautiful family. I still have to pinch myself sometimes. They are so beautiful and I am so proud of them. I about fainted when I thought that Mrs.Robinson wasn't going to live with them in the White House. I was so glad that she said yes. This Black mother is getting the chance to live a life that many will never, ever experience. She needed to be there on a daily basis to share this experience. I have had to purchase separate hard drive because I intend to keep every speech, every picture and anything else I can get my hands on about this family and I have had my Inaugural Invitation framed to hang beside my oil portrait that I had done from one of the Campaign posters of President Obama. I noticed that she was also with them in Paris and London. How wonderful. Those two ladies, The first Grandmother and The sitter are getting to see things they never imagined that they would see in the style that they are seeing them. I am so happy for all of them. My grandmother used to say "They are sitting on top of the world with their feet swinging over the side". I just love looking at them. you can bet the Italians are checking out and dating every single thing the First Lady is wearing. And she is looking good....all the time. The women on The View are talking about the cost of the purse she carried and comparing it with the one she carried in New York. She is doing it....and she's doing it well.
