Wow, what next a nightly news show like all the other ethinc groups have in this country?

But, I'll give them a chance, although its not a channel that's avaiable in my area :(.

LOL, rikyrah – I was going to ask if this was the “Tony Brown's Journal” of the 21st century, so I guess I'm dating myself there too.

My first reaction to this news was snarky and inconsiderate, but I've since changed my tune – if only because I desperately want a quality black news show to work and to prove that yes, we are interested in more than just videos and reality tv. I wish Roland Martin the best and I will do my best to give him (and TV One) the benefit of the doubt until the show gets off the ground. Please let it be good!

Rikyrah, I remember Lead Story. One of the few good things about BET.

I hope that Washington Watch can capitalize on getting support from influential Black and Brown lawmakers and politicos. I can't underestimate how good that would be.

Be nice to see Black journalists getting the "scoop" for a change.
