This brother hit it on the head with this DVD. When you take the current economic, social, political , and spiritual factors into consideration. We as a race of people have to get back to our roots. Know our true history, not that bullshit that was taught in our school systems. The mis-education of our people has played a significant role in our asimilation into the mainstream society. When one knows the truth about their history. Then one is more than capable of navigating through the obstacles that are strategically placed in ones way. I'll cite a few reasons here:

Black folks have the highest % of prison incarcerations

Recent SC rulings on Voter's Right Act- and the Ricci vs New Haven CT= reverse affirmative action- SMH

As long as we have coons like unca Clarence on the court…….

Tea bagging, talks of seccesions, increased gun sales, increased racially- motivated hate crimes,continued large disparities in jobs, income, housing- add the fact that blacks were intentionally and systematically targeted for subprime mortgages……

All these acts are still attempts to enslave.
These are our failures. We are now enslaving us. Stop committing crime, stop these stupid no snitch insanity, stop acting like brainless babboons and stay in school and study. I fight this type cast everyday and then walk out of my office building, and there it is. Makes me sick and embarrassed to be a black man.

As far as Black people being Black and patriotic, I'm not surprised that some Black people may struggle with it. I look at my Black sisters around the world and know that in another country I would have it just that much harder.
