In his book he says that he would never look at himself in a mirror,because his family would tease him about the bad acne he had on his face & his father teased him telling him he had a big nose.he was very shy to approach girls because of this,so when he got older he changed his nose and got treated for his acne.so actually he did have self hatred because of the teasing & acne and he showed it by some of the things he chose to do during the course of his life.it bothers me because he was already good lookng and after the 1st nose job he should have stopped.the reason Lisa Marie Presley left him is because "She could'nt deal with his self destructive behavior" I feel god made him black when he was born and that's what he should have been when he died.Ok,he may have had the skin disease but the disease did'nt make him that ghost white, he did.People called him weird but he was'nt he just had allot of issues he was dealing with.Have you ever listened to the lyrics of his songs? Most of the slow songs are talking about searching for love all his life and how lonely he was.i can relate to him because we had allot in common,like he had Lupus & i have it also,he did'nt have a childhood & i did'nt either,his father mistreated him & i did'nt have a mother or a father in my life my mom was on drugs & my father did'nt care so i had to become an adult in a child's body & so did mj,(That leaves a emptiness in you that can't be filled so you always feel lonely,left out & cold inside (listen to stranger in moscow) he had a wall there that he did'nt realize he had up that's why none of his relationships worked out,these are some of the women he dated:Maureen McCormick,Stacy Lattisaw,Tatum O'neal,Stephanie Mills,Brooke Shields,Lisa Marie Presley,Debbie Rowe,Ola Raye,Naomi Campbell,Tatiana(can't remember last name),Madonna & he was dating Jessica Barnes when he died. that's why none of his relationships lasted very long.He put tape on his fingers & i do the same (because your fingers are very sensitive when you have lupus and he had to use his hands to hold the microphone, to snap his fingers & do his dance moves.He had to walk around with a umbrella, as did i because Lupus patients should'nt be exposed to the sun's rays because you can get skin cancer or it makes your lupus flare up.He got addicted to pain killers & i take the same kind of pain killers he took but he had no control over the pain killers because he had no control over his life, I have plenty of control over my pain killers because i have addressed my problems and learned how to control my problems & life, but he did'nt.I genuinely feel that if i had met him i could have helped him and he would'nt be dead today,because he would have had someone in his life that understood what he was going through.the reason he shut out his family and girlfriends is because they could'nt understand where he was coming from.He would often say no one understood him and that's what he needed most is understanding, he would also say don't try to figure him out and the reason for that is you can't figure a person that is having multiple problems unless you are having them too.I can't understand what it's like to have cancer because i've never had it,but i bet you all the lupus patients in the world can relate to him and his needs.So to sum it up i thnk it matters alot because i'm black and proud of it as well as being proud to have lupus because that's the plan GOD had mapped out for me.I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE THAT I DID'NT HAVE THE KNOLEDGE TO CONTACT MJ BECAUSE I FEEL I COULD HAE SAVED HIM FROM HIS SELF DESTRUCTION!! baracktopia
