I don't think the first lady is pregnant but she is wearing oh so many tops that leave reason for question. Did she just gain some weight?

I do believe she is in fact pregnant. Well blow me down.

I was automatically set to say no - water weight from monthly cycle blah blah but JJai I do believe you are right. She is.

The reason why I would say that is because she is still toned in the arms but her stomach . . . . It is a beautiful thing if that is the case.

My 9 year old daughter was watching over my shoulder as I looked at these pics. She commented about the afro puff pics, "Mommy, she looks just like me in that picture!" (And she does.)

Man it's gotta be tough having a b-day on a holiday, but at least it's not on a gift-giving holiday like Christmas.

I like when she has he hair in cornrows. Looks like one of the little girls from my block.

I like the cornrows, but I love, LOVE LURVE, the big ol' puffy afro puffs from when she was a little girl!!

In fact, I just love that our natural hair is so versatile. A hot comb can have it bouncin' and behavin' then cornrows can have it marching in loc-step, two strand twists can be had with no rubberbands needed. Our natural hair can go 'up' or out.

I just love me some natural, happy-to-be-nappy, african hair!

I went natural 4 years ago and I will never put a chemical relaxer on my hair again.

Oh and Malia will be a knockout when she grows up. She's not just little kid cute, she's beautiful. And Sasha is going to be serious trouble with those dimples. She's a DIVA!

I'm thinking about going natural after I pass the Bar and get a job and all that good stuff. LOL. Right now I don't have the time to do the natural thing. I do NOT miss getting my hair hot-combed though (you know, the ones they had to put on the stove to get hot), I used to hate every minute of it. . .

Flat iron, baby, ceramic FLAT iron!! But I do know what you mean about that little hot comb that momma lit a low flame to heat up. Then she splurged and bought the little "personal stove" that you could plug in and it was only big enough to hold that dreaded comb.

i used to run and hide when i saw my mother putting that hot comb on the stove!

I'm with you 'bout the afro puffs. Too cute!!
