As far as Axelrod, I am not saying that he advised to get rid of Wright. What I am saying is that their was a discussion and a decision was made and Axelrod was the one who TOLD Wright that he was persona non grata, at the CAPITOL moments before Obama announced his candidacy for President of the United States.

I do not know that Wright is pissed, I think his commentary was accurate. Wright, as you know, is well-versed on the entire Middle East conflict, and on how AIPAC's stance impacts US policy. Jews, however, are no longer monolithic on Israel.

Obama and Wright have a special place in history. Historians will have a field day with the dynamics of their relationship and particularly Wrights history with the Muslim world, his mentoring of Obama and the juxtaposition of Obama's generational Muslim heirtage and the dominance of Jews in the his Presidential inner circle. Was Obama a student in the predominately Muslim world when Wright negotiated the release of Goodman? The history and parallels about these two intellectual and global political citizens is rich.

If you wanna get blatant, the question is..how does Obama's family measure up in any sense to that of Wright's? Wright's family is the quintessential story of Negroes who overcame despite the odds, hate and virulence of racism in America. Obama has no such family heirtage. Who in Barack's family overcame a blessed thing? Obama as was said often during the campaign does not represent the historical struggle of blacks in this country and neither do any of his ancestors! Yet, a man who does and who had a brilliant mind and outstanding upbringing as well as serving as a veteran in this country, is the one who was cast aside. AND, since this IS the topic of the thread, he was told that by AXELROD, who is a jew. So, YES, Wright was righteously angry and no doubt in Jeremiah's mind, he is representing 2-3 generations of blacks like his family by stepping up and saying ” I will not be PUSHED ASIDE, once again and go QUIETLY.

Doesn't make him right, but there are many folks who would agree with his principle reasons for doing so.

I know all about the relationship Wright had with Obama and how Obama had no ties to the black community before marrying Michelle and joining Trinity. So, the question is what is your point, as it regards Wrights rude commentary?

And you seem to be making the same point I have when you say that Wright is one of the most powerful, highly regarded, erudite scholars in the ministry.

It is unclear what your contentiousness is based on..cause it seems to me we are saying the same thing about Wrights background. And I previously stated I was not defending Wright.

he was right. the (largely jewish–if not in practice then in culture) media that follows president obama around would take ANY opportunity to turn a meeting/phone conversation/etc. between the president and wright into something deeply pathological and negative. there's no denying this. sure, he could have kept that to himself, but he spoke the truth.

However, they will have to give an account to God. That is where the whole higher standard thing comes from in the Christian realm.

That is the biggest difference. I have a problem with twisting words and then analyzing them. I have no problem with analyzing words as they stand.

These words as they stand are disheartening and anti-semetic. I may be pro-Palestine, but I stand against all hatred, no matter which direction it's coming from.
