Interestingly enough, I haven't heard anything in the USA about how Michelle was crowned Queen of the Coast in Ghana. There's such an unprecidented, tight control on what Obama's administration lets out through the press, according to press insiders. They're a fine couple – wish they'd be more open with the USA peoples.

They are definitely a team in everything that they do. They are also very in tune with each other. She watches him like a hawk when he speaks and he does the same for her. She's his check and he seems to value that immensely. I think there's probably very little, if anything, that slips by her. In many ways she still plays the same role she had when they met, that of mentor.

I think she did on the gay rights stuff. At a minimum he has to keep the LGBT community abreast about what's going on behind the scenes if things are movig slower then originally thought. People can be patient, but they will get stressed out if you don't stay in touch.

Washington insiders haven’t seen a first lady this ambitious since Hillary Clinton, without question the most powerful holder of that unofficial office.

Like that's a lot of first ladies? There was only one in between Hillary and the Democrat-at-heart valium-taking biting-her-tongue Laura Bush.

This is just another effort to paint Michelle Obama as some kind of threatening force in the White House. Before long, the meme will be that she's the driving force behind Obama's actions, that she has waaaaaaaaaay more influence on what happens in American than even the President himself.

I'm guessing some have decided they need to go after the First Lady as well as the president to bring down both their poll numbers. Just recently, the First Lady once again polled very high including with Republicans. One of them has said all along that attacking Obama will be a marathon, not a sprint.

Apparently she tried to make Desiree Rogers report to her, and Desiree probably gave her the “bitch, please” side eye and next thing you know Norris was out the door.

You know how it is…a young'un gets their first real taste of authorii…tries to lord it over everyone…and lords it over the wrong one.

Norris probably tried to make Sasha Obama and Mrs. Robinson report to her and they gave her the “Oh hell no, honey” look and went straight to Michelle.
