The government is the last payer for healthcare period. It show up at the hospitals emergency room where it is more expensive than a check up that could have caught the disease/illness early<br>Those opposed argue that single payer healthcare's nightmare becomes not receiving a kidney transplant or some other surgery that is challenged by lack of organ donors currently and into the future. Basic healthcare is just that check ups, immunizations and repair of the injuries of life; stitches, broken bones, the flu or other diseases that may constitute the pandemics of the future. Anyone buying the idea that a multiple pay system will work is deluded. The government is the last payer for healthcare period.
