Republican policy has been very clear for a long time; gain control of the levers of power by one controlling the judiciary. Two, create political events that are beyond the control of any one President's term. Two a, whenever possible events should be tied to national security.
With these policies in place in market driven economy where economic speech is freer than political speech if it makes a dollar it is acceptable.

Nancy made statements about her regret that she was not invited to the WH when he made the announcement on stem cells research. So. . . seems to me doing this could be great strategy. Especially since she is the wife of Reagan who the Repubs swear is the closest thing to Christ himself.

that is EXACTLY what she meant. The Bucks Co. DA said it the night the hoax unraveled. She said it with a straight face and not a ounce of irony. And if you called her a racist, she would be horrified.
In her defense, the DA was really really pissed off with the heifer. The first part of her statement listed the 7 agencies that spent time and money looking for the heifer and her child.

Listen I saw video of President Obama escorting Mrs. Reagan in. He moved very slowly, very much cued into her mode – if you know what I mean. And when he walked from the podium to the table to sign the 'proclamation' she had her arm thru his and when he got to the chair and started to sit, he went from holding her arm to holding her hand until he was seated and then she placed her hand on his shoulder. THAT will go somewhere with Mrs. Reagan. I am not a fan of hers in any way shape or form, but Barack won that woman over just by simply being a gentleman.

She nor her husband like him after the way he treated his ex wife. She waited until the very last minute to endorse him which still doesn't mean she voted for him. To be perfectly honest though, I never liked Ron and Nancy Reagan because they rolled back so many things that had happened to try to send this nation forward and they worked so hard to create a have/have not society. I listen to all these people rant and rave about how wonderful he was, but I was there and I don't remember anything wonderful about his term for. The best part of his term for me was when it was over.

BUT unlike what the media said about Wanda Sykes going over the line…..not one of the National News people have said that he has gone over the line yet. I never choose to watch him nor any of those other wingnuts; but the networks that I do watch are intent on making me listen to clips of them and their stupid, racist ranting. What don't they leave them out there just for their fans to watch. They should be arrested for “inciting to Riot”. That's what they used to do to our civil rights leaders when they came to speak to us in private.
