Normally I wouldn't get too miffed about the other interracial casting choices in movies/TV because they're clearly a look and a feel they're going for. I didn't write them, I didn't produce them, and I don't have to spend money to see them.

But this is a bit different–this is an animated film and there really wasn't any reason to make the prince White, especially when Disney never saw fit to be that 'progressive' in its animated portrayals before. I mean, they did do that with “Pocahontas”, but they sort of had to. It's pretty blatant if you ask me.

Yep, all that crap about PBO being a "celebrity" was pure horseshit- with proof coming from the horses mouth. Hmph... The campaign had so much momentum it was like a freight train, and McCain got ran the fuck over. He was trying to get out of the way but Palin pushed his ass over the tracks.
