House Passes Obama's $3.5 Trillion Spending Plan
Party-Line Vote Permits Work to Begin on President's Key Agenda Items

Congressional Democrats overwhelmingly embraced President Obama's ambitious and expensive agenda for the nation this evening, endorsing a $3.5 trillion spending plan that sets the stage for the president to pursue his most far-reaching priorities.

The House voted 233 to 196, along party lines, to approve a streamlined version of Obama's budget request that would trim his spending proposals for the fiscal year that begins in October and curtail his plans to cut taxes. But it would permit work to begin on the central issues of Obama's presidency: an expansion of health care coverage for the uninsured, more money for college loans and a cap-and-trade system to reduce gases that contribute to global warming.

Senate leaders predicted that a similar version of the budget blueprint would win approval in that chamber around midnight.

If so, the two measures would then move to a House-Senate conference committee, where the harder work of implementing Obama's goals would begin. While Democrats have sanctioned the president's vision for transforming huge sectors of the economy, they remain fiercely divided over the details. There is no agreement, for example, on how to pay for a costly overhaul of the health care system, and there is no consensus on how to spend the vast sums that could be generated if the government forces industry to effectively buy permits to pollute.

I used to do runway modeling for charities and prform in community theater. We had folks helping us change costumes and accessories. Some nights we had 6-8 costume changes.

There's a system in place for each scene right down to the shoes, but it was always up to us as models and actors to know what we were wearing.

In conjunction with everything you have described, you should probably make a complaint to HR that you feel that she is intentionally making these comments around you to make you feel uncomfortable, and the “noose” comment was the straw that broke the camel's back. They will not do anything, but it will put them on notice, so that if this conduct continues, you can begin to establish a case for harrassment. You need to find out from other people, however, if she really has a problem with you.
