Some applaud the Obama Administration for striking the right balance. Others say immunity is not as broad as some think. Still, others say the President hasn’t gone far enough.

You're absolutely right! And it's not just American's willingness to
absolve soldier's for normally egregious acts in the theatre of war,
but most Americans can tell you not only where they were on 9/11, but
they can recount the fear they felt on striking detail. That is to
say, most Americans know they are complicit on the Bush
Administration's actions, most of us either called for the capture or
killing of terrorists by any means necessary or turned a blind eye.
We wanted every CIA agent to be Jack Bauer. We, citizens all across
this country Democrat and Republican alike, created a climate for
torture. And that's the main reason that the government would NEVER
get a prosecution.
