Here’s Obama speaking today at a former Maytag plant that now makes towers for wind turbines for a company called Trinity. The folks in this community are heirs to a new energy revolution, he says. The community hasn’t totally bounced back from the Maytag days, Obama acknowledges. But it’s a start. Where there was emptyness in an abandoned factory, there’s new life. There’s hope and there’s change. Worth a listen to hear Obama articulate his vision for how America can experience prosperity once again through green, clean energy.
