A black bourgeoisie perspective on U.S. politics
Building on the platform it used during the transition, the Obama White House is offering anyone the chance to ask or vote on questions about the economy that the president will answer this Thursday.
Here’s the link: http://www.whitehouse.gov/openforquestions/
I’m a big fan of transparency in government (generally) and expanded openness was one of the major reasons I supported and continue to support Obama. Here’s what I wrote in December about the use of Google Moderator during the transition: http://www.jackandjillpolitics.com/2008/12/obamas-changegov-allows-open-questions-based-on-google-moderator/
So go ahead and ask some questions. If you don’t have any, vote on some already in the system. It’s your government. Pay attention.
