Dear Michelle,

Are you the reason we do not hear Hail to the Chief?

You probably also asked why they had to play 'Hail to the Chief' every time he enters a room! Which is why our President is not getting the right honorable public adulation and respect that comes with the stature of the office.

Michelle needs to focus on being FLOTUS and stop nitpicking at the protocols for the Presidency.

Here is my words of advice to her:

He is not just your spouse and children's father.

He is also now President of the United States of America, and he should have every single honor and public dignity that goes with it...nothing less.

It doesn't take away anything from you Michelle...you still get all that goes with being FLOTUS and something even more wonderful his unwavering love and devotion.

The rest of us could only dream of having THAT!

So, let us have our PUBLIC pomp, circumstance and protocol without you niggling him about it!!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I had heard about the event, but was afraid that I wouldn't be able to see it. I'm so proud of the Obamas for doing this and proud of Stevie Wonder for his lifetime of work. (I also have to say that I LOVE Michelle O's hair and outfit here.) And to Justice58: co-sign on that!!!!
