I'm for voting w/ pink slips and for that reason I would prefer her to stay as governor of Kansas. She had a real opportunity to rid that state of their ongoing fiasco of sending Republican Senators since who remembers when(1861?, Kansas became a state and Republicans were different). Brownback and Roberts are reactionary ideologues of the most dangereous ilk. When the bulk of President Obama's goals come to fruition over the next two years she'd be prime time to topple them.

It sounds like great news for Governor Sebelius and I think also for the cause of healthcare reform. Kind of a bummer for those of us who were hoping for a Democratic senator from Kansas after the 2010 election.

Then again, universal healthcare is preferable to another Democrat in the Senate.
