My brother lives in Canada receives care from their national health system. It is great that he pays nothing for healthcare and his prescriptions are free. The downside is its like being in a really bad HMO. He was very sick for a long time and they just basically blew him off, can you say years of multiple misdiagnoses. In the USofA he could have sued their asses off. My mother eventually had to give him money to come to the USofA and pay cash to see a doctor. Less than a week later his disease was identified.
A canadian specialist has since confirmed that diagnosis.
Be careful about what you wish for.

I am so sick of the GOP and Mitch McConnell and that snarky other guy in the House who spends way too much time in a tanning booth, I could pull my hair out. And, since they all have the best healthcare on the planet, its so easy for them to tell others you don't need it if you can't afford it.

They offer nothing to a debate on how to move this country, other than "tax cuts" and no regulation for these companies like the health care industry, which is nothing but a rip off. And, why is it that the GOP can't realize the simple fact, that people without health care are getting it from taxpayers when they have to go to emergency rooms, and, all that does is send up the dividend for the for profit hospitals.

The so called greatest country in the world, and 47 million and counting without basic health care, amazing, sad and disgusting.

That dude, Congressman Zack VAmp is an idiot. Lord help us! Healthcare is a priviledge. He meant HEALTHCARE IS FOR THE PRIVILEDGED.

According to wiki he's a recovering cocaine and alcohol addict, even went to rehab.
