A b-boy in hip-hop culture is one that wears the clothes and lives the lifestyle so in essence it's someone who lives the "b-boy" lifestyle...circa 1985-1989 in the golden age of hip-hop rather than now, when those cultural original have mostly been lost. Think of the kid in the 80's with the Kangol and Adidas on with the gold chain and the Cazals....arms crossed, that's considered and has been immortalized through rap lyrics as the b-boy stance. I know, you don't know what the Kangol or Cazals are either...sigh...I guess either folks on this board are way older than me, or just didn't come up immersed in hip hop culture...

And no Miranda, b-boying and beatboxing are are indeed two different things....

I definitely think it has a lot to do with him being a younger President. Hell, there are older folks, no matter what 'race' they are, that still wouldn't get the innuendo. Likewise, there are white-raced teenagers who completely understood “Nah, we straight” and the Prez brushing his shoulders off.

On the point, while I admit a republican, racist dog-whistle wouldn't be one if i could detect it, I still tend to think that many of their whistles are still a bit too decipherable. this doesn't count the fake whistles, the ones they know that we know and that they use to incite us in unison with the others who know we know and to unite that last bastion of jugheads who don't think we know, e.g. states rights. know what i mean?

It's a blast to try this in meetings, though… “Bob, I tried take control of the market; the market took control of me. I think I better let it go. Looks like another profit tko.”
