My boss didn't like that, especially since the New York Fed was the worse of the Reserve Banks in doing their EEO business. And not being able to get Congressional Oversight didn't help. Maxine Waters could cry “foul” and cut the fool with Greenspan and Bernanke all day long, but it didn't amount to more Brothas, Sistas and Latino brothas and sistas into the joint as economists. Who knows, if they had them there, Greenspan may have told the truth.

Bernanke, in all honesty, inherited the shyt left by Greenspan, but that doesn't excuse him, as Greenspan's been gone for more than two years.

He's been at the Fed too long – they don't have any Congressional oversight or accountability and he's trying to run the Treasury Department the same damned way.

Only if he keeps pissing off the likes of Barney Frank and Russ Feingold, they can call a hearing and demand Geithner's resignation – or call for Obama to fire him.

Then Holder can come in and clean up the rest of the mess, and Paul Volcker can help out as the new Treasury Sec.

I knew putting too many ex-Clintonistas in his damned Cabinet would come back to bite the POTUS in the ass, but I didn't think Geithner would show his ass this soon in the Administration. Even Paul O'Neill got two years before Bush canned his ass, and Geithner might be the first Treasury Secretary with the shortest tenure.
