Please enough babble..Race is a real construct regardless of its social origins ....Race has a perception value and reality value. ..Your reply was the latest buzz words nonsense often employed by the chatter class..

You are a social being just like me , your reality was shaped, influenced and is impacted by others on a personal level as well as an institutional level.

Unlike you I choose to leverage my racial capital and cultural genius you instead seek to leave it on the shelf and waste a very valuable asset.

I am a Black man willing to exploit every aspect of my existence and being therefore when I encounter folks like U who handcuff themselves it only makes it easier for me to excell, win, dominate..

OK, look....you are talking about black folks collectively. I am speaking as one of the black ppl you include in your collectively posture. That does not make my assertion about me. Rather, it says that collectively INDIVIDUALS must EXCELL.

Blacks are not a monolithic group, excellence and exceptional talent occurs on a spectrum within the group, all black individuals are not equally talented. Ergo, race is the universal bias that impacts them collectively. However, attempting not to be the best because you choose to define it as some 'artificially imposed racial legacy' is NOT the answer.

When race is not the issue, for lack of success, it means everyone has to excell regardless or race. It has nothing whatsoever to do with an artificial racial bias.

Maybe, you believe that your race is responsible for your individual genius and that is where the disconnect is. I do not believe that at all.

As I stated, talent and individual excellence are about the individual what they do with it, how motivated they are and a choice to achieve and excell. That has zilch to do with race.

Racism is nothing more than restrictions people place on you based on your appearance. In short, it is a false social construct. Race has nothing to do with individual strength and talent.

Again your reply does not resonate with me..I am posturing about a macro perspective and you are discussing yourself….. My point remains Black folks as a collective should ignore any standards and protocol defined and created by whites as we create and define the future during the Obama era…. On a personal note my genius and legendary being is in part a result of my Black cultural DNA an asset that I acknowledge and value..
