Omg, Rachel said she didn't think she'd earn her pay last night after Jindal's drivel. She was speechless.

Yes, the Republicans DO have a lot of trust to regain…..because Republicans squandered it and NEED to take ownership of it……and quite frankly , collectively you all have not.

And I say that from the most objective place in my heart as a citizen observer.

Does anyone remember a Democratic response…maybe not…..But I think the time of Americans overall ignoring and bypassing the political process, or not paying attention is over….ESPECIALLY since we have such a charismatic and pragmatic leader at our helm again….people want to listen and be engaged….you all should have learned that from the campaign. The days of simple scare tactics, fearmongering, and name-calling are over. It doesn't win elections for republicans anymore. People want to hear solutions, but most importantly they feel EMPOWERED, and that makes all the difference.

The point myself and other make is that the pandering has backfired tremendously for you all……Democrats had a prominent woman, you all brought in one as well..which was good for the base but appaetnly not appealing to the overall masses.

Then Michael Steele, who we have already gone through extensively here at JJP, is very superficial in his “outreach” plans, and quite frankly so far has been babbling incoherently all over cable nes…I mean gosh, Steele himself said “You can't trust a word that comes out of the GOP mouths”…WTF…SMH.

In the President's first address, Republicans wanted to counter with another “brown” face…again pandering that did not play out well. Even republicans are canning this, because in the end the intent is not sincere…the process is not thought out…and it winds up coming across as a gimmick. That's the truth.

Heck he sounds way better than Jindal!! I do not get visual dissonance with a southern drawl and an Indian face y'know..he speaks well…what r&b song did he sing…I tell you WHAT…those eyebrows that obviously use to b a unibrow are UGLY he needs them shaved or waxed and shaped…they are horrid.

But in terms of articulateness he sounds WAAAAAY better than Jindal.
