What Tavis has been guzzling all day.  ROFL

Is it me, or did Tavis try his damndest to get the afternoon panel into doing the hating on the POTUS that the morning panel wouldn’t?

Looks like the afternoon panel isn’t buying it, either.  Actually, Julianne Malveaux, Al Sharpton, Lani Guinier, Erica Williams and most notably, Randall Robinson, stopped Brotha Tavis in his tracks.

Give Michael Steele half a prop for even showing up on behalf to the GOP and being willing to take ass-waxings from both Malveaux and Sharpton.  Unless he shows up in our communities talking about what the GOP can do for US without going on their Saltine tip as they are wont to do, we’re still not listening, and will probably slam the door in his face faster than the we do when the Jehovah’s Witnesses come calling.

Until we see an interactive SOBU where the audience is the main focus, the active participants, and there is less pontificating and lecturing like most African-Americans have no sense, I think future 4th Saturdays in February can be better spent elsewhere, doing something worthwhile in taking back our communities.

This is the reason I’m so glad to be back posting.  The JJP posters are a unique and incomparable group that I love to engage in debate and discussion, and what I have sorely missed.  Blame Comcast and the deregulation that held me hostage because I had to fire Comcast before being able to give my business to Verizon.

If I didn’t mention you by name, please know I wasn’t snubbing you; so many of you made good comments, but these were the ones I felt summed up this afternoon’s “Get Yo’ Shyt Together” lectures.
