I looove this posting. Melissa sums up everything I've been feeling about this but was too pissed off to articulate!

Isn't Steele the squarest black man, ever?

He begins his acceptance speech with "..This is Awesome." Is there any "whiter" phrase than that?? How the hell is he going to appeal to the so-called Hip Hop generation? How's he going to do that by disrespecting the first black president? Is Steele just scamming the GOP?

They keep saying on the tube that he's articulate...I don't see it. I just see a grinning buffoon.

I asked D if he thought young black people are going to be attracted to a party that insult blacks with fake money that have watermelon, ribs, kool-aid & such on it?
